If we have declare the method in abstract class and not providing implementation we can run.

abstract class Animal
{
 abstract go( );
}
abstract class Cow extends Animal
{
 abstract go( );
}
abstract class Dog extends Cow
{
 abstract go( );
}
public static void main(string arg[ ])
{

}

It would run,If we have declare the method in abstract class and not providing implementation.

abstract class Student {

    abstract   void name()  ;

    abstract  void marks() ;

      public static void main(String args[])
      {

      }
    }

Yes,it would run.

For example:-

abstract class Bike{

abstract void speed();

}

public class Vehicle extends Bike {

public static void main(String[] args){

}

}
